Our Story
Hi, This is Andy and Brinly Foxall. We’ve been married since 2008, but our story together started in 2006 at Bible school in Dallas. Brinly grew up in Shreveport and felt called to preach at a young age. Andy grew up in Oklahoma and sensed a call to ministry as a teen. We met, became best friends, and have been doing life and ministry together ever since.
Over the years, we’ve served in nearly every role you can imagine — from church secretary to student pastor, worship leader to executive pastor. We always said we’d never lead pastor… but God had other plans.
A Call We Didn’t Expect
God began stirring something new in our hearts: not a position or a platform, but a burden. A burden to build a healthy, Spirit-led, Word-rooted expression of Christ’s Church – He changed our “never” into a “yes.”
In 2022, we moved to Bossier City and now we are in the early stages of planting The Gathering Church — a place where people can encounter Jesus, live in real community, and be sent out on mission.

Why Gathering
We believe the Church isn’t just a weekend event — it’s a people. God’s people. Called to love deeply, grow faithfully, and live boldly.
Many of us have seen the pull toward the next big thing — but our deepest need isn’t flash or polish, it’s to be rooted in the way of Jesus through lifelong discipleship. It’s biblical literacy. It’s faithful teaching of God’s Word. And it’s communities shaped by the fruit of the Spirit, not just the trends of the moment.
We long to see a Church that loves well, lives sent, and truly looks like Jesus.

Who We Are
Andy is a total Bible nerd — happiest when he’s knee-deep in biblical languages, writing a thesis, or hiking the Holy Lands. He’s currently pursuing a master’s in biblical studies and hopes to teach in Israel one day.
Brinly brings the joy — whether she’s leading, preaching, or planning the next fun thing. She’s passionate and always brings the party wherever she goes.
We balance each other and we lead The Gathering side by side as co-builders, pastors, and parents.
Life Together
We have two incredible kids and love getting outside to hike, travel, and do life as a family. Ministry is not just our job — it’s our life. And The Gathering isn’t just a church — it’s our family.
Our desire is to keep Jesus at the center — not personalities or platforms — and to build something that reflects His heart and mission.
