What do churches and Mexican restaurants have in common? 🌮⛪️ There’s one on every corner. 😂 So why are we starting another church? Because even with churches all around us, there are still thousands of people in Shreveport-Bossier who aren’t connected to one. We’re not planting The Gathering because our city needs another church option. We’re planting because there are still people to reach. Come hear the vision. Meet the team. And find out how you can be part of building something from the beginning. Coffee & Info | AUGUST 30 | 4-5 | @bntcoffeecompany Comment INFO and we’ll send you the details. #TheGathering #GatherSB #ShreveportBossier #ChurchPlant #Shreveport BossierCity

A healthy church isn’t full of people who have it all together. It’s ordinary people learning to follow Jesus together. That’s the church we’re praying for.

Every church has a first Sunday. But long before that morning, someone prays first. Someone believes first. Someone says yes first. Maybe that’s you.

We had blast serving with kids doing crafts the last couple of days! Join us next week at Springs of Grace. 🤩🙌 #shreveport #bossiercity #shreveportbossier

Why church plant? Church planting is one of the most effective ways to reach people that are not in a church. #shreveport #bossiercity #shreveportbossier #church #churchplant

What's already happening at The Gathering. ☀️ Women's + Men's + Middle School This is in no way exclusive to our church launch. We are excited to build community with anyone and everyone. We've had some sweet middle schoolers from awesome churches come to hang out, and we have women coming in the same boat. However — if you have any interest in launching with us, this is a great start. DM us or fill out the form at gathersb.com/contact to get connected.

Loved learning with other churches at @excelleadersnetwork Team Night! 🤩 A weekend full of learning, growing, and being reminded that we’re not just planting a church—we’re on a mission. And yes, the kids are in it with us. Because The Gathering is a multi-generational church plant from the ground up. 💛 #TheGatheringSB #ChurchPlanting #GatherGrowGo #shreveport #bossiercity

Where we are right now: pre-launch. That means we're building a launch team. The Launch Team isn't about perfection. It's simply people willing to take a step and help create a healthy church in our city. Whether you've followed Jesus for years or are just exploring faith — whether you've been to a hundred churches or you've never set foot in one — there's a place for you here. If it's stirring something in you, fill out the form at gathersb.com/contact and we'll be in touch. Let's build this together. 🤎 #TheGathering #LaunchTeam #ChurchPlant #BuildWithUs #ShreveportBossier #BossierCity #JoinTheTeam #ChurchFamily #318 #PreLaunch #ChurchPlanting

Where should we go next? #shreveport #bossiercity #churchplant

WE GATHER. A healthy church gathers around Jesus and one another. We gather to worship, pray, learn, and build authentic community — not as spectators, but as a family being formed by Jesus together. Presence over performance. People over polish. Family over attendance. "...not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another..." — Hebrews 10:24–25 Message us to join the launch team. #WeGather #TheGathering #ShreveportBossier #BossierCity #AuthenticCommunity #ChurchFamily #PresenceOverPerformance #ChurchPlant #318 #HealthyChurch #Hebrews10

4 ways to connect with The Gathering. Pick whichever fits where you are right now: → 1. LAUNCH TEAM — Help us build the foundation. Pray, serve, invite, gather. → 2. PRAYER TEAM — Join people praying for our team, our city, and the people who don't know Jesus yet. → 3. SUPPORT FINANCIALLY — Partner with us as we plant a healthy church in this city. → 4. LEARNING MORE — Not ready to commit to anything yet? Just want info? That's a real option too. There's a checkbox for each one on the form at gathersb.com/contact. #TheGathering #JoinUs #LaunchTeam #PrayerTeam #ChurchPlant #ShreveportBossier #BossierCity #BuildWithUs #318 #ChurchFamily #GetConnected

Before buildings or budgets, every healthy church plant starts in prayer. 🙏 Would you pray with us this week? → Pray for Andy & Brinly and our two kids. → Pray for the families on your block. → Pray for the people quietly asking if God is real. → Pray for the lonely, the burned-out, the addicted, the grieving. → Pray for the kids and students of Shreveport-Bossier. → Pray that God leads us to the right building in central Bossier. Drop a 🙏 below if you're praying with us. We'll add you to our prayer team and send weekly updates. #TheGathering #PrayForOurCity #ShreveportBossier #BossierCity #ChurchPlant #PrayerTeam #CityChurch #PrayWithUs #318 #ShreveportPrayer #ChurchPlanting

Deep roots, not shallow speed. Disciples, not just crowds. Formation, not performance. That's the kind of church we're building. If that resonates with you, come build it with us. #TheGathering #DeepRoots #Discipleship #FormationOverPerformance #ShreveportBossier #BossierCity #ChurchPlant #318 #AndyFoxall #HealthyChurch

The Gathering is coming to Shreveport-Bossier this fall. We're Andy & Brinly Foxall — and together with our two kids, we're planting a healthy, gospel-centered church in this city we love. Gather. Grow. Go. Not another weekend service to attend. A church being formed by Jesus together — and sent into our neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces with the hope of the gospel. Follow along as we introduce you to who we are, what we're building, and how you can be part of it. #TheGathering #ShreveportBossier #BossierCity #ShreveportLouisiana #ChurchPlant #NewChurch #ShreveportChurch #BossierChurch #GatherGrowGo #318 #ChurchPlanting #HealthyChurch #ChurchFamily

Gather. Grow. Go. Three rhythms shape everything we do at The Gathering. They keep us centered on Jesus and moving together as a healthy church. → We GATHER in authentic community. Not as spectators, but as a family being formed by Jesus together. → We GROW in God's Word and Presence. Deep roots over shallow speed. Disciples over crowds. → We GO sent into our neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and homes. Every member a missionary. Every place a mission field. A healthy church formed by Jesus and sent for the good. #churchfamily #GatherGrowGo #TheGathering #ShreveportBossier #BossierCity #ShreveportChurch #Discipleship #SentLiving #ChurchPlant #318 #HealthyChurch #EverydayMission #ChurchFamily

Hi! 👋 We're Andy & Brinly Foxall. Married for 17 years, raising two kids, running a small business out of Bossier City, and stepping into church planting after almost twenty years of ministry. For nearly two decades, each of us has served in many different corners in ministry on staff at various churches. Through every season, God kept shaping a deeper burden in us: a desire to help build a healthy, Spirit-led, Scripture-rooted church centered on Jesus. That dream has a name now. It's called The Gathering. We're honored to help build this as pastors, parents, local business owners, and partners. And we'd love for you to be part of the story God is writing here. 🤎 More about us → gathersb.com

Daily reminder. 🤎 Jesus didn't die for the polished, presentable version of you. He died for the actual one. The one reading this — tired maybe, hopeful maybe, unsure maybe. You don't have to perform your way into His love. You don't have to clean up to come close. Come as you are. He's been waiting. Save this. Send it to someone who needs it today. #Encouragement #TheGathering #ComeAsYouAre #Grace #JesusLovesYou #ShreveportBossier #BossierCity #ChurchFamily #318 #HopeInJesus #SundayThoughts #FaithCommunity

Where’s our Middle Schoolers at?! 🤩 Excited for this summer.

Healthy churches change cities. In a world that often feels disconnected, hurried, and performance-driven, we long to build something deeply rooted. A church centered on Jesus, grounded in Scripture, dependent on the Holy Spirit, and shaped through authentic community. We believe a healthy church can bring real renewal to real people in real places. And we're praying for Shreveport-Bossier to encounter the presence and love of Jesus in real and lasting ways. #TheGathering #HealthyChurchesChangeCities #ShreveportBossier #BossierCity #ShreveportLouisiana #ChurchPlant #CityRenewal #LocalChurch #318 #HealthyChurch #ChurchPlanting
